Lost and Faded Rocks the House at House of Rock

Energy, Attitude, and Ability… key elements to any good live show. If you lack any of them, you’re going to have a rough go of it onstage, especially if you’re just starting out. Lost and Faded, Corpus Christi’s up-and-coming alt-rockers, came out with all three last Friday night at House of Rock. Opening for Austin’s Nautical Nation, Lost and Faded has begun to build quite a supportive fan base in the area, and it’s not hard to see why. Their sound, a mix of 90’s alternative and modern radio rock, is a bit of a rarity in these parts. Tranquil, pensive guitar riffs quickly give way to crushing chords that highlight their introspective lyrics. They debuted a new song, “Stay”, a catchy mid-tempo tune that stood out in their 25-minute set. They’ll be releasing “Stay” soon on their Facebook page. The band is improving quickly, as are many of the incredible groups in the area, and if you have the chance, you should definitely check them out live.  Here’s some live shots from the show.
